Attio integration
Connecting an Attio workspace and sending notes to it.
Connecting Attio lets you keep meeting notes against person and company records. You can set up both sending notes one at a time and sending notes in a folder automatically.
Setting up the connection
- the Pulse desktop app (macOS / Windows). Both the connection setup and sending are done from the desktop app
- the Attio workspace to connect to, and permission to authorise a connection to it
Open connectors in settings
In Pulse's settings (opened from your avatar at the bottom left), choose “Connectors”. Attio is in the list of services you can connect.
Connect the Attio workspace
Click connect on the Attio card and a browser opens with Attio's authorisation screen. Choose the workspace to connect and approve it, and the connection is made. Close the browser tab and return to Pulse.
The connected workspace name and the most recent sync status.
- Settings > Attio shows the name of the workspace you connected
- an Attio item appears at the top right when you open a note
Sending notes one at a time
- Open the note you want to send and click Attio at the top right.
- Choose the person or company to send it to. Suggestions are offered based on the meeting's attendees.
- Confirm, and the content is added as a note on the record you chose.
Sending notes in a folder automatically
Notes added to a particular folder can be saved automatically to the matching person or company record.
- Open the folder.
- Click the “Integrations” button in the folder header.
- Switch the Attio item on.
- Choose which kind of record to link to (company, person, related deal).
The integration settings opened from the folder header, with the Attio toggle and checkboxes for choosing the kind of record to link to.
Once set up, notes added to that folder are added automatically to the Attio records matching your criteria.
Automatic sending covers only notes added to the folder after you switched the integration on. Notes already in the folder beforehand are not synced. To send past notes, open each one and send it individually with the Attio button at the top right.
What is sent to Attio is the content of the AI-enhanced note. It contains attendees' names and what was said, so check that the people who can see that record in Attio match the people the meeting content may be shared with. How to account for sending to external services as handling of personal data is covered in Integrations overview.
If something is not working
Q. “Save to Attio” is greyed out
A. You cannot send until the AI-enhanced note has been generated. If it has not been, regenerate using the steps in AI-enhanced notes and try again.
Q. Notes from a folder are not appearing in Attio
A. Check the following in order.
- Pulse matches Attio records using the attendees' email addresses. Where there is no matching record, nothing is created in Attio. Check that the attendees' email addresses are registered as people or companies in Attio.
- Settings > Attio shows the most recent sync status. Where an error has occurred, the details are shown on that screen.
- Notes already in the folder before the integration was switched on are out of scope. Send those individually.
